Do you consider confidence as a prediction or as trust? A confident prediction is one that projects a future to be rosy, a prediction that lacks confidence projects the future to be bleak.
Trust entails full belief, beyond prediction. This week observe your thoughts and notice your confidence level in whatever you are up to at the time. Then notice if you are predicting or truly believing.
Either way, increase your confidence and deepen your beliefs by meditating and following a breathing practice.

According to Sri Swami Satchidananda, in his translation of the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali, Asana means the posture that brings comfort and steadiness. One pose will be enough, but how many poses provide that space for us?
Unless the body is perfectly healthy and free from all toxins and tensions, a comfortable pose is not easily attained. Physical and mental toxins create stiffness and tension. Anything that makes us stiff can break us. Only if we are fully flexible and flowing we will not break.
In the old days, the original yogis sat quietly and observed pain, stiffness, bile, gas, etc. in their bodies. Through inquiry, physical postures and Yogic diet, they healed themselves. Today, you have many forms of Yoga and diets to support you in manifesting a comfortable and steady body.
I started meditating over 10-years ago when I took up Tai Chi to heal my back problems. My chiropractor suggested that I stretch and relax more. Back then, I was not aware of the physical, emotional and spiritual tensions that I created in my life through my thoughts, words and actions. Also, I had no concept of the toxins I was putting into my body through what I ate, drank and inhaled.
I’m so grateful that the Universe led me to experience what I needed to wake up. Today, I eat mostly Raw foods and I practice Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation and Circular Breathing to support me in being Healthy, Happy and Free.

How did you feel before, during and after the Super Bowl Game? Did you feel good because your team won or did you feel bad because your team lost?
I found myself shifting from good to bad (or from bad to good) depending what was happening to the Baltimore Ravens. During the game, I became aware that the ego was playing with me. So, I chose to enjoy the rest of the game and have more fun with my friends by connecting to the energy behind my feelings.
This week, notice how you feel when you are observing the behaviors of others. If you are feeling bad, explore the possibility of shifting your emotions by taking a deep breath and putting your attention on your inner energy.

200 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training

Vinyasa yoga: breath with movement. Each conscious action honors our existence. Each breath can be taken in an act of gratitude and acknowledgment of our interconnectedness with all of creation. The dance-like practice of Vinyasa Yoga is a powerfully effective way of developing an intimate knowledge of the interplay between the Prana (life-force), through the vehicle of the breath, and the physical, emotional and mental bodies. The more in-tune we become with the power of our breath through stillness and movement, the more these other systems reveal themselves, thus creating a bridge to an awareness of the higher-self.
The beauty of teaching Vinyasa is its open structure. If you have chosen to explore Vinyasa Yoga, you recognize the importance of being able to create sequencing spontaneously, based on individual needs in the given moment. In this teacher training you will learn the necessary components of a well-balanced Vinyasa class and the many variations and modifications available, through an in-depth knowledge of the core asanas (postures). Through fluid movement, connected to conscious breathing, in carefully crafted sequencing, you will learn how to transform and transcend the physical body, honor and uplift through the emotional body, and create a peaceful and constructive mind through the mental body.

Do you ever notice how you feel when you truly relax? Last night, I stood out in my back yard and meditated on the full moon. I went into a very relax state and could feel the energy flowing through my body. At that moment, I felt a sense of gratitude and appreciation for everyone that has taught me meditation.
Being able to quiet my mind helps me relax my body, experience my breath and connect to pure Energy. Practicing Circular Breathing and Standing Meditation everyday keep my body vibrating and young.
