Are you looking for a practice that provides healing for the body and the mind? Restorative Yoga could be the ideal solution because it is especially useful when you need to eliminate daily fatigue and stress. It can also help you recover from illness and injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety that are caused by traumatic events such as divorce, loss of job and death of a family member.
It is known that restorative yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables automatic control of the body. As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest, and the muscles will become more relaxed. Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.
This week, be aware of fatigue and stress and ask yourself where can I take a Restorative Yoga Class.

Are you interested in producing clarity of mind, fulfillment, physical well-being, weight loss and enhanced energy? Amazingly, you”ll find that this is possible without any special equipment or special talent. Would you take the next step if all it took was to practice 30-60 minutes a day?
Pranayama means mastery of the life force or control of the breath. In their study of the potential of human beings thousands of years ago, yogis saw that working with the breath could yield impressive results toward greater aliveness, self-expression and power.
The breath is one of the easiest doorways into the capabilities of the human nervous system because it touches aspects of each vital domain – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. You can learn Pranayama techniques from any qualified Yoga instructor.
This week, be aware of what aspect of your life you want to improve and consider Pranayama as an alternative practice to support you in fulfilling your intention.

Do you consider confidence as a prediction or as trust? A confident prediction is one that projects a future to be rosy, a prediction that lacks confidence projects the future to be bleak.
Trust entails full belief, beyond prediction. This week observe your thoughts and notice your confidence level in whatever you are up to at the time. Then notice if you are predicting or truly believing.
Either way, increase your confidence and deepen your beliefs by meditating and following a breathing practice.

Asana Power
According to Sri Swami Satchidananda, in his translation of the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali, Asana means the posture that brings comfort and steadiness. One pose will be enough, but how many poses provide that space for us?
Unless the body is perfectly healthy and free from all toxins and tensions, a comfortable pose is not easily attained. Physical and mental toxins create stiffness and tension. Anything that makes us stiff can break us. Only if we are fully flexible and flowing we will not break.
In the old days, the original yogis sat quietly and observed pain, stiffness, bile, gas, etc. in their bodies. Through inquiry, physical postures and Yogic diet, they healed themselves. Today, you have many forms of Yoga and diets to support you in manifesting a comfortable and steady body.
I started meditating over 10-years ago when I took up Tai Chi to heal my back problems. My chiropractor suggested that I stretch and relax more. Back then, I was not aware of the physical, emotional and spiritual tensions that I created in my life through my thoughts, words and actions. Also, I had no concept of the toxins I was putting into my body through what I ate, drank and inhaled.
I’m so grateful that the Universe led me to experience what I needed to wake up. Today, I eat mostly Raw foods and I practice Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation and Circular Breathing to support me in being Healthy, Happy and Free.
This week, observe your posture (Asana) when you drive, meditate, work and play. See if you can hold the pose and be fully tranquil. Tell me about your experience.

Anatomy Power
“Pantajali, the patron saint of Yoga, said that mastery combines a balance of science and art. Knowledge of science is like colors on an artist’s palette – the greater the knowledge, the more colors are available. The body is the canvas and the Asanas are the art we create.” Ray Long, MD, FRCSC
This week, observe your body and notice what muscles, bones, ligaments are working when you walk.
Let me know your experience and Be Conscious & Free!

According to Wikipedia, Saint Patrick’s Day was made an official Christian feast day in the early seventeenth century and is observed by the Catholic, Anglican Communion, Eastern Orthodox, and Lutheran churches. The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrating the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.
Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, ceilithe, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks. Christians also attend church services and the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day, which has encouraged and propagated the holiday’s tradition of alcohol consumption.
So this week, feel into the color green and if you feel like eating and drinking observe the consumption.

Yin Yang is used to describe how “opposite” forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other in turn.
Many natural dualities such as female and male, win and lose are thought of as manifestations of yin and yang.
This week in your meditation, observe your Yin (female) energy since last Friday was Women’s Day and notice how it aligns with your Yang (male) energy.
Lots of Love, Bliss and Abundance to all Women everyday!!!

Are you living an authentic life?
If you are not feeling happy, inspired, fully self-expressed and flowing perhaps you need to look deep inside and notice if you are in denial. There are different techniques to peel away beliefs that are not empowering.
Standing meditation is a technique that helps you connect to your core values.
Also, it is a practice that quiets the mind, reduces stress and elevates energy flow.
If you have taken on meditation as a way to manifest your desired outcomes, be consistent in your practice. Below, Tiger Wood explains in an interview with ESPN, Tom Rinaldi why he created his ordeal.
“Well, I had gotten away from my core values as I said earlier. I’d gotten away from my Buddhism. And I quit meditating. I quit doing all the things that my mom and dad had taught me. And as I said earlier in my statement, I felt entitled, and that is not how I was raised.”
