Your father was an inspiration to Cuban “Americans” during a very difficult time for…us…Yes I consider myself as such…took me a while…
I remember the progression..from when he first arrived from Cuba and supported the family as best as he could…up to the highest honors and achievements he received during his lifetime. Testimonials are well documented.
On a lighter note…
Many years ago I had occasion to meet with a client in North Carolina. We talked and I mentioned that I was born in Cuba…sold him some furniture. He asked me if I knew a man by the name of Suarez working for Knight Ryder. I said, yes I do.
As the conversation progressed..I discovered that he had met you with your father on some business venture…and…as legend would have it…was told by his advisors to watch his cigar…during the meeting…which he smoked as pleased him…If the cigar twists to the right…the answer is YES…if to the left…well…Que Sera Baby.
Just a few thoughts…
On this day when we honor our fathers…You honored my father when he passed away….time for me to honor…Yours…Happy Fathers Day…

Are you aware that the concept of work, utility, and somewhere, the goal, is actually the bondage? It does not mean that you stop playing. Keep playing, but know that it is a game.

The one constant in business is change. We are all are living in a major transitional time and we know that carving a new path is difficult. As business leaders, we plan to take action and get results.
However, we do not always get the results that we desire and at times we do not know how to shift the actions to get different outcomes.
